After breakfast at morning 8.00 o'clock, visit the Shankaracharya Temple situated at a height of 1100 ft. above surface level of the main city on hill known as Takht-e-Suleiman. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Cameras, mobiles are not allowed there. After this return to house boat and take shikara from 10.30 am. The shikara rides on dal lake is a royal experience. Shikara ride along the lake take you to visit sites like Nehru Park, Kanutur Khana, Charchinari, floating gardens and typical vegetable farmer etc. There are many shikara moving about on the Dal Lake, hawkers trying to sell saffron, flowers, artificial jewellery, shawls, ponchos, dress materials etc. They will come on their own shikara to approach you to sell something. There are many shops are floating on Dal lake selling everything. After having lunch at house boat drive to the Mogul gardens which include Chashmeshahi, Nishat bag, Shalimar bagh etc. Variety of flowers, cascading streams and fountains are there. After visiting gardens go to Pari mahal situated on the spur of a mountain overlooking the Dal Lake and after that the Hazratbal Shrine. It is the most sacred Muslim relics, a hair of Prophet Muhammad, brought here in 1700 AD by Khawaja Noor-ud-Din from Bijapur. Hazratbal is remarkable for being the only domed mosque in Srinagar, the others having distinct pagoda like roofs. Evening walk around shopping at boulevard road and dining kashmiri food at Mughal Darbar. Kashmiri foods served there is superb and delicious and also can try a drink named 'khewa' after finishing your dinner. Dal lake looks awesome at night

Srinagar -Sonmarg - Srinagar
Morning breakfast at hotel and after breakfast proceed for same day excursion to Sonmarg.
The main attractions of Sonmarg are visit to Amarnath yatra, Thajiwas Glacier and offer various routes for trekkers.
By Evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Sonmarg: means Meadows of Gold with beautiful snowy mountains in the backdrop. The best is to higher the ponies and go for the view of Thajiwas Glacier which is a major attraction of Sonmarg in Summers. Sonmarg is also a gateway to the Holy Yatra to Baba Amarnath with a base camp at Baltal just 15 kms away from Sonmarg.

Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
Morning breakfast at hotel and after breakfast proceed for same day excursion to Gulmarg.
Enjoy your Gondola Cable Car Ride. Do not engage with Pony/Horse men as normally they may misguide you by saying not to go by gondola as it is close but it may not true. (It totally depends on Weather conditions). Best is to reach the gondola counter directly.
It is 56 km from Srinagar. The apple gardens on way at TangMarg, has their own beauty. The green fields and mountains on back is really fantastic. The en-route view from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Gulmarg has the world's highest golf course and a premier ski resort in the country. The route goes through a pine forest. You need to be careful about your belongings the moment you get down the vehicles, because pony walas, guides hover around you. Nature has blessed the regions of Gulmarg with all its showers of beauty and the tranquil atmosphere. Gandola has been divided into two stages, the first stage upto Kondogiri & 2nd stage to an altitude of 3980 m to APPARWAT. The experience in this cable car is breathtaking and really memorable. Snaps can be taken from gondola but if its glass is clear.
Enjoy the Gondola Cable Car ride. There are two phases; phase I and Phase II, advisable to do Phase II also as it give a chance to have the mesmerizing views of the snowy hills.

Srinagar - Yousmarg - Srinagar
Morning breakfast at hotel and after breakfast proceed for same day excursion to Yousmarg. Best spot for picnic and trekkers for Trekking offers various easy to tough treks with a minimum stretch to 10 kms.
By Evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.

Srinagar - Pahalgam
Today leave Gulmarg and drive to Pahalgam. Start at 7.30 am. Pahalgam is 150 KM from Gulmarg, located in the high Himalayas in the Lidder valley. It is the starting point of the holy Amarnath Yatra each year in July/August. En-route visit Avantipur ruins and Mattan Temple. It takes 5 hrs to reach pahalgam. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. Pahalgam is called as the shepherd's village. Your hotel is beside Lidder river. It has a garden at back side. You can enjoy your good lunch at 'Volga' restaurant come back to hotel and spend some time in the garden. Afternoon visit some local sightseeing like Mamaleswar temple, Lakshmi Narayan temple, golf course, amusement park, some Hindi movie shooting places like 'bobby' house (has converted to a guest house) etc. come back to hotel and enjoy wonderful views of Lidder river and the snow capped peaks from hotel room.

Today either visit chandanwari or go to baisaran which is called mini Switzerland.
Baisaran is dotted with Pine and deodar forests which presents a picturesque view of the snow-clad mountains. Situated 5 Kms from Pahalgam and accessed by horse ride. the location is popular for several movie scenes. come back to hotel and have yummy lunch at 'hotel glacier'. Delhi - Rishikesh via haridwar

Early Morning breakfast and move for Rafting point in Rishikesh. There 3 rafting points 1. Shivpuri Rafting Point 16 kms 2. Marine Drive Rafting Point 25 kms and 3. Kaudiyala Rafting Point with 36 kms .
Rafting starts around 9 AM in the morning, with instructions of the Rafting Instructor and if you are adventurous person better convince your instructor to pass through bigger rapids than crossing from nearby and also follow the instructions as it will make your rafting safe and enjoyable. You can carry your camera with you as instructor has the water kit attached with the raft.
You will not forget rafting experience in the cold water of Ganga River.

Today morning after breakfast, check out the Camp and later drive to Jaisalmer City to visit the local attractions.  Visit – Jaisalmer Fort – Built in 1156 and located on Trikuta Hill, is living fort and city’s 1/4th population still lives inside the fort.
Famous Havelis of Jaisalmer - Patwon-Ki-Haveli – belongs to a wealthy merchant Guman Chand Patwa, spread his business from Afghanistan to China, is largest and beautiful haveli. Salam Singh Haveli – built in 1815 by Minister Salam Singh attracts tourists for its Arched Roof covered with blue cupolas & peacock shaped carved brackets. Desert Festival - This is held over three days in January/February every year. This is the best time to visit Jaisalmer to witness performing arts like Kalbelia dances and folk songs and music.

This city was the first capital of the kingdom of Magadha. Its date of origin is unknown, although ceramics dating to about 1000 BC have been found in the city. Visit - the Cyclopean wall. This 40 km long wall once encircled Rajgir. Built of massive undressed stone carefully fitted together, the wall is one of the few important Pre-Maurayan stone structures ever to have been found, "Amravana" or the Mango Garden. It was the dispensary of the physician Jivaka. Jivaka had dressed the wounds of Buddha when he was wounded by his cousin Devadutta when they fought over killing a bird, Monastery Venuvana Vihara. Nalanda - Hiuen Tsang, this memorial hall is dedicated to the famous Chinese traveller Hiuen Tsang. This memorial hall is reputed because the legendary Hiuen Tsang made his visit and lived here as a student and a teacher, The Surya Mandir is a temple near the University dedicated to the Sun God. This temple has a number of statues of Hindu and Buddhist deities. A five feet high statue of Parvati is of particular interest.

Bodhgaya - Varanasi

This tree was planted by a shepherd boy to shield the Lord; Archaeological Society of India Museum, The Bodhi Tree is worshipped as holy, divine and as a giver of enlightenment and wisdom.  It is under this banyan tree (a pipal tree) that Lord Buddha meditated under, Chinese Temple (inside the Bodhi Temple) built by Chinese Buddhist monks and renovated in 1997, Great Buddha Statue located in Bodh Gaya, is made of red granite and sandstone blocks and is 80 ft tall in the standing position. This was inaugurated by the 14th Dalai Lama in 1989.

Manali
Today morning post breakfast proceed for the excursion to Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. To hire the taxi, either contacts the hotel you are staying in or can contact directly with the local Taxi operators.
Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley can be done through 1 day excursions from Manali. Kindly note that Local Government Authorities do not allow the outside vehicles to go for Rohtang Pass due to environmental issues. Tourists have to hire the local vehicle to visit Rohtang pass.

Day 08
Manali - Chandigarh
Morning breakfast at the hotel and later proceed for the local sightseeing of Manali.
Visit - Nehru Kund, Vashist Hot Water Springs & Temple, Hadimba Devi Temple, Mountaineering Institute and Tibetan Monasteries.
 checkout the hotel and back to Chandigarh.
During Stay in Manali, tourists can also enjoy rafting.
Continue drive to Chandigarh. On arrival, transfer to hotel for night stay.

Day 09
Chandigarh - Agra
Morning check out the hotel after breakfast and later proceeds to visit Rock Garden in Chandigarh.
The Drive from Chandigarh is quite long so take proper rest before leaving for Agra.
Drive to Agra with en-route visit to Mathura & Varindavan.
Continue drive to Agra. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 10
Agra - Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
Morning breakfast and later proceed for the sightseeing of Agra. Visit - Taj Mahal – (Closed on Friday), the most extravagant expression of love ever built; Later check out the hotel and drive back to Delhi with en-route visit – Sikandra – 13 kms from Agra Fort, is the last resting place of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Vast and beautifully carved with red-ochre sandstone & deer, rabbits and Langoors and Emperor Akbar himself planned his own tomb.
En-route visit to Abhaneri Baoli (Stepwell) & Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted Capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted for the water supply failed. In Fatehpur Sikri Visit – Buland Darwaza – a beautiful piece of architecture with a height of 54 mtr. Jama Masjid – a Friday Congregational mosque with beautiful architure. Tomb of Sufi Saint Salim Chisti – built in white marble within Jama Masjid courtyard. This tomb contains a number of graves, all male descendants of him. Diwan-i-Khas – hall of Private audience, famous for its central pillar, must to see.Continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival transfer to the hotel for night stay. Overnight stay at Hotel
   


Day 11
Jaipur
07:00 AM – Breakfast at Hotel and later proceed to explore Jaipur.
Amber Fort – 11 kms from Jaipur, main tourist attraction of Jaipur, located on a High hill, is a blend of Hindu Rajput elements and artistic style. Interesting activity to perform here is Elephant Ride which starts in morning around 8 AM on first come first serve basis.
Hawa Mahal – Palace of Winds, is unique 5 storey with 953 small windows, built with a purpose to allow royal ladies to see the city life without being seen by outsiders. Best is to see in morning with Golden light of sunrise.
City palace – consists of Chandra Mahal & Mubarak Mahal. Chandra Mahal’s small is converted in Museum and other larger part is still the residence of the royal family.
Jantar Mantar – means Calculative Instrument, which was built for Astronomical Calculations. Such kinds of instruments were built in 5 places including Delhi and Jaipur. In Jaipur, it was largest and best preserved.
Albert Hall Museum – an oldest Museum of Rajasthan and has a rich collection of paintings, carpets, ivory, stone, metal sculptures, colourful crystal works etc.
Jal Mahal (Water Palace)– located in the centre of Man Sagar Lake, has got an eye-catching makeover. Rajput style wooden boats were created to reach it.
Evening Free to explore the local markets. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 12
Jaipur - Delhi Depart

Morning breakfast and visit to Galwar Bagh Monkey Temple, NaharGarh fort and Jaigarh Fort. Today is the Last Day of Golden Triangle with Shimla & Manali Tour Package. Drive back to Delhi and you will be transferred to Delhi International or Domestic airport to take flight. We at Companion Travels wish you a comfortable onward journey to back home.

centre. Jaipur is Famous for its historical monuments and thus due to this importance with Delhi
and Agra, it completes the famous Golden Triangle Tour of India, which is highly recommended
and must to do for any Tourist. Night stay at Hotel

Jaipur
