Climate
Jaipur has an extreme climate. Thus the region is quite hot during summer and cold in winters. The temperature rises to 45 degrees during summer and dips below 5 degrees during winters.

October to March is the best time to explore the Pink City, Jaipur.

The City 
Rajasthan's beautiful City, Jaipur, isknown as The Pink City because of its architectures. Pink colourer stone is used exclusively on the walls of the city. Jaipur bazaar showcases its craftsmanship through embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye fabrics and other exotic stuff.

Sawai Jaisingh II founded Jaipur in 1727 AD. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is encompassed in history and its culture. The magnificent forts, huge havelis and Vibrant bazaars make Jaipur a popular tourist destination amongst travelers. This city is an essential part of the popular Golden Triangle with Delhi and Agra as the other parts. Nevertheless, Jaipur is not only endowed with wonderful tourist attractions but it also has an excellent infrastructure to support tourism. Major attractions in the city

City PalaceCity Palace is a striking landmark that was built by Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. It is classic model of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Now a part of the palace is museum that addresses a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets, costumes and many Mughal & Rajasthani miniatures. Other Places to visit in City Palace are Mubarak Mahal, Diwan-e-Khas (the hall of private audience), 7-storey palace 'Chandra Mahal' (moon palace), and the Diwan-e-Aam (the hall of public audience).

Hawa MahalHawa Mahal is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Jaipur. The royal women, who use to watch the proceedings on the road below, used Hawa Mahal as a veil. In form of pyramid, it has a five-storied building, with number of small windows and screens and arched roofs. The Palace consist of 953 small windows decorated with artistic craft work. Today, it is one of the most visited monuments in Jaipur. 

Jantar Mantar : Built in 1718 by Sawai Jai Singh, Jantar Mantar is one of the five observatories that were built by the king. The observatory was built for studying the progress of stars. It is built with marble stone. You can visit Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, Rajasthan and see the amazing masonry instruments. 

Samode Palace : Samode Palace is located at a distance of 42kms from Jaipur, making it a great place of tourist interest. It is famous for its surprising havelis and forts. Samode Palace captures the attention of people with its splendid architecture, making it a perfect destination to enjoy holidays. It is a place for those who value tradition and local arts. 

Amber FortAmber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the oldest fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber. As it used to be the capital, until it moved to Jaipur. White marble and red sandstone are the materials used in its building and the Maota Lake in the foreground adds to its beauty. The fort in itself is a remarkable sight, as one looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake front. Amber Fort is a must-see if you are visiting Rajasthan.
